Articulation is the process of evaluating courses to determine whether coursework completed at a high school will meet the requirements at a college level for the purpose of advanced placement or credit-by-exam units.
How do articulation agreements help transfer students?
Generally, articulation agreements document a pathway between two or more colleges or universities and their academic programs. Articulation agreements are also called transfer agreements, transfer guides, and transfer pathways by various audiences.
When to apply?
Articulation Agreements within our programs allow students to apply for college credit while attending Cascadia Tech. It is important to note that students MUST apply for these credits while enrolled in Cascadia Tech. If students fail to fill out the proper paperwork they will not receive transfer credits to use post high school with college programs we articulate with. Instructors will take time within the instructional time to support students to be able to fully understand this process and how to do this.
