About Cascadia Technical Academy:

Cascadia Technical Academy offers tuition-free career and technical education in 18 program areas where jobs are in high demand. High school juniors and seniors receive college preparation and can earn college credits as well as certifications and licenses specific to their industry.

We serve over 29 high schools, private schools, and home schools in Southwest Washington. As an extension of the high school experience, more than 1,300 students choose Cascadia Tech to improve their earning potential through advanced career and technical training. Cascadia Technical Academy operates as a cooperative that includes ten partner districts (Battle Ground, Camas, ESD 112, Evergreen, Hockinson, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Woodland).

The governing board of the cooperative is comprised of the ten district superintendents known as the Superintendents’ Administrative Council. The council meets regularly to establish policy, approve programs/budgets, review progress towards goals, and evaluate the cooperative director. In the absence of cooperative policies, the school Board policies of the host district (Evergreen Public Schools) establish our operating rules.

Cascadia Technical Academy realizes and values the critical importance of partnerships with businesses, organizations, and individuals in achieving the school's mission. Cascadia Technical Academy does not receive any bond or levy funds. Partnerships strengthen Cascadia Technical Academy and these relationships play an important role in continuing the success of our students.
