Business Principles is excited to share the results of their FBLA Winter Leadership Conference! Twenty-five Cascadia Tech students participated in competitive events, bringing home 5 first-place medals and 34 additional awards, which qualifies them all to compete at the State Business Leadership Conference in April. Fire Science Cadets at Station 63 learned how to use air lifting bags. These bags need minimal clearance during rescue operations to lift vehicles, heavy machinery, and debris that has fallen upon or otherwise trapped victims. #CascadiaTech #FireScience #InspiringGreatness

Fire Science Cadets at Fire District 3 participated in the Hockinson Tree Lighting ceremony. The Cadets helped with parking and served chili to the community members who came to participate in the festivities. A generous donation of $481 was given to the Cadets for their service. The money will go towards paying for Live Fire Training at Clatsop Community College- MERTS (Marine and Environmental Research and Training Station) Campus for their FLARE (Field Leadership and Response Exercise) training. #CascadiaTech #InspiringGreatness #FireScience #Cadets
